About Academic English Editing
Academic English Editing has a team of editors who speak various languages and have specialties in various academic fields. Our editors all hold degrees from excellent schools, with excellent grades, and have demonstrated expertise in the English language. Our tutors are not only good teachers but also expert writers.
The Founder and Editor-in-Chief, William Heidbreder, holds a BA, summa cum laude (with highest honors) in English from the University of California at Berkeley. He founded this business in 2002 after writing, researching, proofreading, and editing for several years for various large businesses and financial firms in New York City. He handles much of the editing himself, and also reviews the work of other editors who work for Academic English Editing, and serves as a consultant on difficult problems (he owns a library of reference materials, including dictionaries in multiple languages, style manuals, word usage guides, dictionaries of Greek and Latin words and phrases, and specialized dictionaries in various academic fields). His personal scholarly interests are in philosophy, social and cultural theory, literature and literary theory, and film studies, and his current research interest is in the philosophy of Alain Badiou.
